Senior Hires for UX and Insights Platform WEVO

In the US, user experience (UX) and insights platform WEVO has hired Dustin Garvey as Chief Data Officer, Crystal Jones as VP of Marketing and Allie Hagerty as Head of People. The firm says it tripled its sales in 2021.

Dustin GarveyCo-founded in 2016 by former Skype exec Nitzan Shaer and former Constant Contact CMO Janet Muto, WEVO uses artificial intelligence to rapidly uncover audience insight and predict conversion outcomes without the need for A/B tests. The WEVO Journey solution tracks customers' experience across a client's web site for targeting and engagement purposes, and was enhanced in August with the addition of a Custom Questions feature, allowing customers to add their own UX questions.

Since January 2021 WEVO has added new customers including global leader firms in the financial services and car manufacturers sectors; and new partners including three of the world's largest digital agencies.

Garvey (pictured) holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and has registered no fewer than 48 patents in his name. Prior to joining, he managed data science teams at GE Global Research and Oracle. In his new role he will focus on further automating the insights process.

Jones brings experience from b2b tech including building marketing and PR campaigns for enterprise, mid-size and start-up businesses. In her new role, she will influence strategic direction and help the company adapt rapidly, by aligning stakeholders, using data analytics to highlight opportunities, and listening to constructive feedback.

Hagerty's extensive experience in tech sector HR and organizational management includes time as Director of HR experience at gig-economy marketplace Jobble, and Talent Specialist roles at JRNI and Wayfair. In her new role she will work on recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, candidate experience, employer branding and culture.
