Worldpanel Director is New Irish MR Association Chair

Irish MR industry body AIMRO has appointed David Berry, Commercial Director of Kantar Worldpanel, as its New Chair.

The organisation represents and networks the leading research providers in the Republic, aiming to build and maintain high professional standards. The Chair is normally rotated every two years but B&A's Luke Reaper, whom Berry is replacing, has held the role for three years due to the pandemic, according to www.adworld.ie . Kantar's Maureen Van Wijk held the Chair before Reaper.

Berry (pictured) has worked with Kantar Worldpanel in the UK and Ireland since 2000. He currently leads the commercial team and is a spokeperson for panel data in Ireland with insight into shoppers, retailers, categories and brands. He is a former Treasurer of AIMRO, which is online at www.aimro.ie .
