June 22 2022

US-based customer experience automation (CXA) platform ActiveCampaign has appointed Sameer Kazi as President, and promoted Kelly O'Connell to Senior Vice President, Product Strategy. The firm has also opened an EMEA 'hub' in Dublin, Ireland.

Sameer Kazi and Kelly O'ConnellActiveCampaign's platform helps businesses in 170 countries engage with their customers. Earlier this year, the firm acquired transactional e-mail provider Postmark and e-mail authentication and monitoring service DMARC Digests, to help its users target and personalize their messaging.

Kazi joins from customer engagement platform Cheetah Digital, where he served as CEO, before which he held senior leadership roles at analytics provider Simply Measured and interactive marketing agency ExactTarget. O'Connell joined in 2015, and has since held leadership roles across the firm's product, sales and customer success functions. She will now shape the firm's product and pricing strategy and lead the Product and Design teams.

Separately, ActiveCampaign has opened the new office at 160 Shelbourne Rd, Dublin 4, and its team will help support the launch of ActiveCampaign's new European data center later this year. John Lamphiere, EMEA Regional VP, comments: 'We look forward to welcoming new employees to the region, both in and outside of Dublin, as our EMEA expansion continues'.
