July 29 2022

Ed Harrison, the CEO of Australia-based media intelligence and measurement firm Isentia, left the business this week, according to online publication Mumbrella. His next career move has not yet been announced.

Ed HarrisonIsentia offers traditional media and social media monitoring, and media analysis services across the Asia-Pacific region, from headquarters in Sydney, Australia and operations in New Zealand and South-East Asia. In June last year the company was sold to comms software firm Access Intelligence for $AUD 35.6m (£19.4m).

Harrison (pictured) joined the company in 2018, after serving as CEO of Yahoo7, which develops digital media products and creates original content; before which he was Group Sales Director at Fairfax Media, overseeing 300 newspaper, magazine and digital brands. He relocated to Australia in 2001 to set up JC Decaux's Victorian and South Australian operations, and from 2003 to 2008 was national General Manager.

In a statement to Mumbrella, Access Intelligence Group CEO, Joanna Arnold, said: 'Ed was a key leader throughout the transition period but as the company began to launch the new global strategy, he decided it was the right time for him to step away and leave the management team to shape and execute on the new plan. I would like to thank Ed for supporting Access Intelligence and Isentia through the transition and wish him well as he pursues his next career move'.
