Walnut Adds to FMCG and Shopper Teams

UK insight agency Walnut Unlimited has appointed Emily Abbott as Research Director in its FMCG team, while Thalita Parizotto joins as Associate Director in the Shopper division.

Emily Abbott and Thalita ParizottoThe company was formed in 2017 when marcoms network the Unlimited Group combined four of its existing insight businesses to form what it describes as a 'human understanding' agency with strengths in neuroscience, behavioural science, qualitative research and data analytics. Abbott joins with more than 25 years' experience. Most recently, she was Head of Quantitative and Mobile at Intrinsic Insight, before which she held senior roles at Future Thinking and Ipsos MORI. In her new role, she will use her expertise in product development, branding, comms and customer experience to help broaden the firm's FMCG offer.

Parizotto joins with more than twelve years' MR experience, the most recent three spent at consumer and shopper research specialist Strategir, latterly as an AD. Prior to this she was a Client Manager at Kantar in London, and she worked in Brazil as a Senior Marketing Research Analyst at Enfoque Stratégir. At Walnut, Parizotto will use her background in shopper strategy and product innovation.
