Senior Change Amid Rapid Growth for Sprinklr

US-based customer experience management specialist Sprinklr continues its rapid growth, this week announcing a revenue rise of 27% in the second quarter, ending July 31st, to $150.6m. The firm will also have a new CRO, Paul Ohls, as Luca Lazzaron steps down on October 1st.

Ragy ThomasSprinklr, which after a raft of launches in 2017 described itself as 'the first unified CXM platform for the enterprise with a foundation in social', had around 2,400 employees when it went through an IPO a year ago, and is now valued at just over $3bn. Second quarter operating loss was $21.7m, down a little from $28.4m a year ago; while on a non-GAAP bases the figure better than halved from a loss of $10.5m a year ago to $4.9m now.

CEO Ragy Thomas (pictured) thanked Lazzaron, who will serve as an advisor to the company until the end of 2022, and said of Ohls, who is currently EVP Worldwide Sales and Success, 'his experience in enterprise software sales and familiarity with Sprinklr and our customer base are tremendous assets moving forward'.

Thomas says the firm 'beat expectations across all key metrics' in the quarter, adding: 'Our focus on operational excellence and increasing efficiency is having a great impact on our business. As a result, we are significantly improving our business outlook for fiscal 2023. We are increasingly confident in our ability to deliver an attractive combination of strong revenue growth and a clear path to non-GAAP profitability'. For the full fiscal year ending January 31st 2023 Sprinklr is predicting total revenue between $616m and $620m, and non-GAAP operating loss between $8m and $12m.
