iSpot Names SVP of Agency Partnerships

TV ad measurement firm iSpot has appointed Jodie McAfee as Senior Vice President of Agency Partnerships, to expand and deepen cooperation with agencies and lead initiatives aimed at helping those firms to integrate iSpot's products for buying, planning and optimization.

Jodie McAfeeThe company's proprietary platform provides a 'complete view' of TV ad activity across national, local and OTT services, enabling brands to measure attention to ad creative and connect ad exposures to business outcomes. In March, iSpot became the first measurement company certified by NBCUniversal for use as currency in the purchasing of national ad campaigns.

McAfee (pictured) joins after nearly seven years at smart TV company VIZIO, latterly as VP Marketing and Communications, overseeing the adoption and integration of the firm's Inscape ACR (automatic content recognition) data into the TV marketplace. Earlier he worked for Samsung Electronics as General Manager of the firm's AdHub multi-screen ad platform; video distribution platform Miniweb Technologies as VP Sales & Marketing; and media services firm Boomerang iTV as Managing Partner.

In his new position, McAfee and his team are tasked with strengthening the relationship between agencies and the 750 direct brand customers that use iSpot's suite of ad measurement products, and also helping to bring streaming platforms and agencies together to agree on new currencies.
