In the UK, full service agency BMG Research has appointed long-time NatCen exec Caroline Turley as Client Leadership Director.

Caroline TurleyFounded in 1988 and headquartered in Birmingham, BMG delivers market and employee research, customer insights and public perception surveys to both public and private sector clients. Last year the firm opened an office in the London Bridge-based News UK Building, having closed its previous London base during the pandemic.

Turley (pictured) joins in London after fifteen years at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen), where she spent a decade leading the firm's Crime & Justice team. Before joining NatCen in 2007, Turley carried out qual research at the Police Complaints Authority and BMRB Social Research.
In her new role, Turley's focus will be on expanding BMG's qual portfolio into new policy areas. Simon Wood, Head of Research, comments: 'Caroline is one of social research's leading experts with a reputation for high quality, actionable research that makes an actual difference to her clients and wider society. We've seen the business grow dramatically in the past couple of years and it's given us the platform to bring in people of the highest calibre and expand our offer and capabilities'.
