STRAT7 Researchbods Expands to New York

Leeds, UK-based consumer intelligence firm STRAT7 Researchbods has opened an office in New York, its first in the US. Former Echo-MR exec Steve Becker joins to help grow and expand the firm's US operations.

Steve BeckerSTRAT7 Researchbods is part of global insight and customer analytics group STRAT7, and works with clients across retail and FMCG, financial services, media and technology, travel and entertainment, and pharmaceutical and healthcare, helping brands engage with consumers through its insight community platform, ex-plor.

The business now employs more than 140 staff and has seen year-on-year revenue growth of 20% to £12m. The expansion into the US market follows recent successes in securing several high-profile global contracts, and the new office will serve as a hub through which the company can support the needs of its North American clients.

Becker (pictured joins with more than twenty years' global brand, communications and insight experience, most recently as SVP Research and Strategy at Echo-MR. Before this he held senior roles at MetrixLab, Db5, Insight Strategy Group, Hall and Partners and Ziment, having also founded his own agency, Breakaway Strategy.
