Washington-based political and commercial consulting firm GQR has appointed Natalie Jackson, an expert on how public opinion is formed, as a Vice President.

Natalie JacksonFounded in the late 1970s, GQR provides US and global political leaders, NGOs and companies with opinion research, and help in translating the findings into campaign strategy.

Most recently she worked as the Director of Research at Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI), a nonprofit, nonpartisan independent research organisation. Earlier she worked as Managing Director of Polling for Just Capital, and Senior Data Scientist and Polling Editor at newspaper The Huffington Post where she developed poll averaging and forecasting.

She holds a BA in political science and history from West Texas A&M University, was a postdoctoral associate at the Duke University Initiative on Survey Methodology, and earned her PhD in political science from the University of Oklahoma.

GQR Partner Anna Greenberg says Jackson 'brings unparalleled experience in understanding how voters think about complex issues and innovation in survey research methodology'. Partner Elizabeth Sena comments: 'Natalie has a unique skill of cutting through the noise to find out what voters really care about. Her knowledge of public policy issues and survey methodology enhances GQR's focus on actionable and accurate polling'.
