Youth and Family Researcher Smarty Pants Promotes Two

US-based youth and family researcher Smarty Pants has promoted Danielle Place to the role of Director and Megan Bowling to Senior Analyst.

Danielle Place and Megan BowlingThe company, which has headquarters in Johnson City, TN and offices in seven other US cities, works on brand positioning, new product development, consumer lifestyle and trend research. Place joined five years ago as Senior Manager, from Forrester, where she was a Qualitative Analyst for the Customer Experience Index team. Earlier she was a Senior Consultant at C Space. Bowling joined in January last year after nearly eight years at Action Based Research, where she was a Market Research Analyst, having begun her career with the company as an MR intern.

Place leads multi-method research initiatives for Smarty Pants' footwear, healthcare, retail and finance clients. Senior Director Anne Knight comments: 'Danielle epitomizes well-rounded research leadership. Her methodological expertise, innovative thinking and dedication to excellence is apparent in everything she does'.

The firm says Bowling's promotion is based on her attention to detail, advanced analytics know-how and expanded in-person qualitative research skillset.
