London-based media agency The Kite Factory has announced the opening of a dedicated growth consultancy called Ascend, which it says will focus on 'Insight, Change, and Innovation'.Tapping proprietary data tools and more than two decades of client-side and agency media expertise, Ascend will aim to 'connect the dots between brand, media, creative and design', helping with digital transformation, brand strategy and the evolution of marketing models, among other goals.
The division will be headed up by Helen Radia (pictured left) as Managing Partner; and Head of Insight Charley Day (right), marketers and former colleagues from charities and Kite Factory clients WaterAid and Crisis. Day joined the agency three years ago as Strategy Director and Radia in the autumn of 2023, with the same title.
The firm says the move is a response to increasing client demand for strategic direction, beyond traditional media planning and buying, including making smarter use of data. Quoted on www.decisionmarketing.co.uk , Radia comments: 'We work closely with marketing teams every day and understand the pressures they're under - juggling complex ecosystems, tightening budgets, and evolving expectations. Ascend offers a fresh, flexible consultancy model that brings clarity, momentum, and measurable impact.'
