In the US, former GfK and Human8 employee Patricia Salamone has joined Burke, Inc. as Vice President, Client Services.Burke was founded in 1931, is 100% employee-owned, and provides decision science, insights and innovation. Its subsidiary, the Burke Institute, provides education for MR and consumer insights roles, while innovation and growth acceleration specialist Seed Strategy, which it acquired a decade ago, still serves under its own name within Burke as a specialist in those areas.
Burke is due to change its CEO in September with Tara Marotti stepping up into the role.
Salamone joins with more than twenty years of experience in research, strategy and consulting, including a broad range of methodologies spanning customer journey mapping, ideation and concept development, experience testing, and customer experience strategy. She joins from Human8, where she served as Senior Director, Client Consulting; and previously spent a decade at GfK Custom Research in various senior leadership roles. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
