Another Senior Hire for Research Clever

August 25 2026

London agency Research Clever has appointed former Kadence and MIS Group researcher Cécile King as Commercial Director.

Cécile KingResearch Clever was founded in 2023 by CEO Ross Cafferkey, and supports agencies, consultancies and insight teams globally with survey programming, data collection and analysis. In February it reported a number of appointments, along with rapid growth in business and new offices in central London; and last month it added Mona Blaute as Associate Director (Operations). The company says it has increased headcount 'more than 1000%' in the last year, while maintaining 100% employee retention.

King (pictured) brings more than twenty years of experience spanning market research, business development, client partnerships and commercial leadership. She joins from MIS Group, where she was UK Country Manager, during a three-year stay; and worked previously at Intelligent Insights Group, for six years at Kadence International in London and four at French agency AplusA. Her experience, balanced across quant and qual, spans international research programmes, client services, bid management, and strategic account development.

In her new role, she will lead commercial strategy and support the company's continued expansion. 'From our very first conversation, it was clear that Cécile naturally fits our company values, the way we want to work, and where we want to take the business next,' says Cafferkey. 'She brings a huge amount of experience, but more importantly, the right mindset around our team, our clients, and the standards we want Research Clever to be known for.'
