New Marketing VP for NetRatings

NetRatings has appointed Rebecca Young as the new vice president of marketing. In her new capacity, Young is to focus on strategic branding and marketing for Nielsen//NetRatings' products and services.

Young joins from her previous role as vice president of marketing for online reservation company Foodline.com. She led the launch of the inaugural marketing programme for the company, as well as managing its all-important brand positioning and market penetration. Prior to Foodline, Young was employed as head of marketing for web developer Concrete Media.

Her decade of marketing and management experience will be put to good use at NetRatings. Her most immediate challenge will be to oversee the development of the Nielsen//NetRatings brand. This will be followed by the overall marketing of Internet audience measurement and analytical services.

According to David Toth, CEO of NetRatings, "In building the standard for Internet audience measurement, we have tapped a seasoned veteran to lead our marketing efforts. Rebecca's expertise in brand strategy, new product development and customer relationship management will play an instrumental role in raising the visibility of Nielsen//NetRatings' services."
