UK research agency FDS International has won a major research programme from the United Kingdom Passport Service (UKPS).

UK research agency FDS International has won a major research programme from the United Kingdom Passport Service (UKPS).

The two-year assignment, with a substantial six-figure budget, includes focus groups with applicants and staff; research among UKPS partners; customer satisfaction tracking; mystery shopping and demand forecasting.

'Some five million UK passports are issued every year by this executive agency of the Home Office,' according to Stephen Link, FDS director who leads the UKPS team. 'It's an enormous business that has recently considerably expanded with the opening of a new office in Durham. Our client is determined to be the 'best in class' passport issuing organisation in the world. This research will go a long way towards helping it pursue the aims and objectives in its corporate and business plans and shape future services that it provides for its customers.'
