E&Y Entrepreneur Award goes to Itracks

North American research software and service provider Itracks has been presented with the annual Ernst and Young "Emerging Entrepreneurs of the Year 2001" award. This latest accolade is for the company's recent successes within the "Prairie Region" of Canada.

Dan Weber, Itracks President and CEO, commented, "We are honoured to have been presented with such a pre-eminent honour. The team at Itracks has been working hard to create the paramount market research technology in the industry, and this award recognises their efforts and successes even more than those of myself and Garnette (his wife)."

Itracks was one of the first providers to programme online quantitative surveys for the market research industry. The company has since developed to also offer a qualitative suite of products (Online Focus Groups and Bulletin Board Focus Groups) using chat-based technologies. Most recently it has introduced Itracks Satisfaction Compass, a real-time, online tool designed to gauge customer, vendor and employee satisfaction.

Following their Ernst and Young recognition at regional level, the Webers now move on to be judged at the national level of the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. This ceremony is to be staged on November 1, 2001 in Toronto.

The company has also been the proud recipient of other industry plaudits. Last year, Itracks received an honourable mention in the EXPLOR competition, awarded by the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research, for its survey of perceptions of online research in the market research community.
