New Advance in Relationship Management Software

November 9 2001

NFO World Group has announced the North American launch of its relationship management software TRI*M. The recently updated system processes stakeholder relationship data to create simple customer information, useful in preventing customer "leakage" and securing good returns from company customer satisfaction programmes.

Clients create "report cards" from the system, containing data that can be closely linked to corporate health and bottom line financial performance in a number of applications. The company cites the TRI*M Index as being one major application, linking "bottom line" factors (such as growth in "share of wallet") to a company's customer retention and repeat buying patterns. The software can also create indices to allow large and diversified businesses universal standards across borders.

The simple and non-technical language of the software has been designed with a range of end-users in mind, i.e. research managers, senior executives or management. The intelligence should, in theory, be replicable and comparable worldwide throughout any organisation. It should also be applicable to any number of interested parties, from customers and trade partners, to employees and shareholders.

"NFO TRI*M is the ultimate research platform for deeper insight into important relationships," Ken Freeman, president of NFO North America, has suggested. "A genuine breakthrough in market research products, NFO TRI*M already has a proven track record among users in other regions of the world. NFO TRI*M is a highly flexible tool and one that may be applied across a wide spectrum of industry sectors and styles. NFO has found the tool useful for global companies in such sectors as financial services, telecommunications, automotive, information technology and many others."
