Hauck Joins Incepta Group

November 19 2001

UK research agency Hauck Research Services has been acquired this week by Incepta Group plc, the international marketing and communications group.

Established by Liz Hauck in 1985, Hauck has grown into a 90 employee, full service research and marketing consultancy providing integrated consumer and business to business research solutions to clients worldwide.

Hauck has expanded its core offering of brand marketing research to include sector specialisms in Retail (The P.O.P Shop), Business and Financial, Child and Youth (Red Balloon), Health and Wellbeing and New Media (e-hauck). Hauck's full service offering is completed by Viewpoint which offers viewing studios and field research capabilities.

According to David Wright, Executive Chairman of Incepta, "The acquisition of Hauck will expand Incepta's information consultancy capabilities. Hauck has an enviable reputation as a "best in class" research consultancy and will provide complementary expertise and resource to our current market research offering which includes CitigateDVLSmith. We look forward to supporting Hauck in seeking wider horizons for the business. Hauck and CitigateDVLSmith will join a strategy group formed to develop information services across the group."

Liz Hauck, Chief Executive of Hauck Research Services, added "This is a great move for Hauck. Incepta is a consultancy based business which will allow us to develop our vision of holistic consumer solutions. We will retain our autonomy as Hauck but will benefit enormously from working with companies in the Incepta Group and be well positioned to fulfil our goal to deliver worldclass research and marketing consultancy."
