Rose Becomes New MORI Board Director

Jim Rose is to follow Sir Denys Henderson in becoming MORI's new non-executive Director. Sir Denys, the former chairman of ICI, has now officially retired from the board. Meanwhile, Mr Rose will also join the MORI Audit & Remuneration Committee, as well as becoming a company pension fund trustee.

Mr Rose is currently the Deputy Chairman of QXL ricardo plc and its former CEO. He was before that CEO of United Information Group responsible for the United News & Media marketing information services division that included NOP Market Research Ltd., now NOP World.

His research experience has been largely acquired in his work for ACNielsen. He originally joined the company in the US as a financial analyst, becoming successively Vice President, Operations, Senior Vice President - Client Sales and Services, and finally Managing Director of the Nielsen subsidiaries in the UK, Ireland and South Africa and as Europe, Middle East and Africa Board Member.
