Online Research Tools for HR Professionals

April 24 2002

Employee research specialist ORC International is hosting a free seminar at its London offices on 2 May, focussing on its new on-line tools designed to help HR professionals collect and analyse their employee research data.

These web-based tools apply research and statistical techniques to the areas of remuneration, recruitment and stress, as well as general employee surveys. The seminar will include case studies that highlight the advantages that can be gained by using online techniques for gathering and understanding employee research. The half-day event is targeted at personnel and HR professionals.

Describing the focus of the event, Ralph Risk of ORC International, 'The Internet has opened up many opportunities for HR professionals to conduct research in an efficient and cost effective manner, into areas that were previously not feasible. At ORC International we have developed a number of online tools that can be used by HR Professionals to examine areas such as stress assessment, employer equity, pay and benefits and of course, general staff satisfaction. We believe by using online methods, employers can identify issues that previously were too costly and time consuming to focus on.'
