Research Shows It Pays To Be Responsible

Responsible business practice enhances creativity, according to 76% of senior European business leaders surveyed in research published recently by Business in the Community and carried out by NOP Research.

It is also seen to increase learning from outside the organisation and to promote a broader perspective within. Furthermore, creativity and innovation are seen by 92% as the key to competitiveness.

In addition, 73% of respondents believe responsible business practice could significantly improve profitability. More than half overall, and four out of five in the UK, argue that the business benefits are not exaggerated.

The research was sponsored by BUPA and Marks & Spencer.
