KMR Strengthens Media Research Team

Reflecting the rapid international expansion of its business, KMR (Kantar Media Research) has appointed Richard Windle to the new role of Research Director, TGI and Media Research.

Windle, whose career in media and social research spans more than twenty years, joins KMR (a Millward Brown company) from Ipsos UK where he is currently a group board director. For the past few years he has been the main technical researcher on the National Readership Survey, the RAJAR radio audience study and the BARB TV Ratings Establishment Survey at Ipsos. His recent career includes an eighteen month secondment to Internet ratings service Jupiter MMXI as European Research Director.

Commenting on the appointment, Andy Brown, CEO of KMR said, 'KMR has fantastic opportunities to develop its business based on our Global TGI network which now serves 38 countries. Richard will give us an exceptional depth of research experience, providing methodological leadership on TGI and the associated research services we supply to the media and marketing industries.'

Richard will take up the position in mid-July and will be based at BMRB's offices in Ealing.
