New Executives at SPSS

SPSS MR has recently taken on a number of key executives with the aim of further developing the operation's leading market research solutions.

Dan Coates, former director of sales for SPSS MR North America, has been named vice president of SPSS MR Online with responsibility for the advancement and deployment of ASP services to market researchers worldwide. In his new role, Coates joins SPSS MR's global management team. Coates played a crucial role in the creation of SPSS MR Online, particularly its alliance with America Online to provide the industry's largest online sample, and brings a wealth of experience and energy to his new role.

Prior to joining SPSS MR, Coates was founder and president of Eppointments.com and a co-founder of PlanetFeedback.com. A pioneer of interactive technologies within the marketing research community, Coates developed cutting-edge practices and methods on behalf of Burke Marketing, Millward Brown Interactive and the Angus Reid Group

Further strengthening the SPSS MR Online team, Mike Billingsley joins the company as senior director of operations. Formerly with Digital Marketing Services (DMS), America Online's market research company, Mike has more than 15 years of experience in managing research services.

'Mike's extensive experience and his ability to manage the operational requirements for the most sophisticated online market research needs will add to the level of service our online customers expect,' says Durrell.

Meanwhile, David Biernbaum has been promoted to director of sales SPSS MR for North America. He brings more than 20 years of online and offline research experience, from both the technology and the research sides.
