New International Team at IRI

Information Resources, Inc has recently announced a new management team for its international operations, which comprise approximately a quarter of IRI's total revenue.

IRI has appointed Mark Tims as Group President, International Operations. He will succeed Tim Bowles, who has headed IRI's International business since 1995, and will retire in May 2003. Tims' responsibilities are effective immediately. Bowles will remain as Chairman of IRI's International Operations Board (IOB) through his retirement in May, at which time he will become a non-executive director of the IOB.

Tims has been with Information Resources since 1986 and has held numerous senior executive positions with IRI's European operations, including his most recent role as Managing Director of the United Kingdom business. Tims' achievements at IRI include bringing the UKcompany to profitability and overseeing the launch of many innovative services.

IRI has also announced the following changes to its International management team.

Dave Barrett, currently Commercial Director, will succeed Mark Tims as Managing Director of Information Resources in the UK. He joined IRI in 1992 at the beginning of the UK operation and has contributed to the growth of that business over the last ten years. Barrett has had a 20-year career as a marketing research professional.

Philippe Chouvou, currently Operations Director, Europe, has accepted the post of Director General of France, effective immediately. Chouvou joined IRI in France as Deputy Managing Director and served two years as Division President, Database Services in IRI's US company. Chouvou succeeds Claude Charbit who has been Director General of IRI Secodip, IRI's French subsidiary, since 1995. Charbit will be retiring in February of 2003.
