Early booking for the ASC (Association for Survey Computing) International Conference entitled 'The Impact of Technology on the Survey Process' closes next week on the 30 April. The conference itself takes place in September at Warwick University.

The packed conference programme offers a broad range of 42 papers from public sector and commercial research organisations and technology developers. A distinguished line-up of invited speakers including Norman Glass, Denise Lievesley and Peter Mouncey, will frame the event with a series of keynote addresses.

Different streams will focus on current issues such as data dissemination, working with surveys in different interviewing modes, the effect of survey technology on organisations and research effectiveness on the internet. The full list of papers can be found on the ASC web site, www.asc.org.uk

The conference is designed to appeal to the entire range of technology practitioners in research, from government statisticians to software developers, from market researchers to IT and DP specialists in research companies.
