The Australian based company, which monitors visits to 300,000 websites on a daily basis and has 600 global corporate clients, has recently launched its service in the US market. Mr Hodgman will assist with sales, marketing, product development and strategic partnership opportunities in a drive for rapid expansion there.

Hodgman is currently President and CEO of Sightward, Inc., a predictive analytics company based in Seattle, Washington and has also held the positions of Executive Vice President of Measurement Services for NetRatings, Inc and President of Measurement Services for Jupiter Media Metrix. In 1998 he founded AdRelevance, Inc., an online advertising measurement service which was sold for $66 million in a "stock for stock" transaction. Prior to AdRelevance, Hodgman held executive positions at Foote Cone & Belding and McCann-Erickson.

'We are excited to have Will join the Hitwise board', said Andrew Walsh, CEO of Hitwise. 'Will has a wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts in the online measurement and market research industry. In addition, his entrepreneurial instincts and proven ability to sell to, and understand the needs of corporate marketers, will be invaluable as we expand our proven business model to the US market'.

Mr. Hodgman commented, 'I look forward to contributing to a company that has led innovation in the industry. Hitwise has pioneered technology to cost effectively monitor a vast sample size of Internet users around the globe'.
