New Executive Director for MRA

The Marketing Research Association has hired Larry Hadcock as its new Executive Director. Larry will begin work with MRA in early August and the current Executive Director, Betsy J. Peterson, will be retiring at the end of November.

Mr. Hadcock has 16 years of management experience, 9 of those in association management. He was Associate Director of Member Relations for the Certified Public Accountants in California and was the Administrative Officer for the Building Industry Association of Southern California. Most recently he served as the Executive Director of the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association in Los Angeles, CA.

MRA President Michael Mermelstein believes Hadcock's strengths are well matched to the MRA's current plans. 'Larry brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing associations to MRA. He has a total dedication to quality member service... and has established and managed certification / education programs'.

The Marketing Research Association is one of the USA's largest associations for the opinion and marketing research profession. Its nearly 2,500 members include individuals and companies involved in data collection and processing, focus groups, the design and analysis of research as well as research users and vendors.
