Spaulding held a number of influential research positions at Indianapolis-based pharmaceuticals firm Eli Lilly, including leadership of strategic initiatives to manage their Neuroscience portfolio. She won recognition within the company and the industry, receiving the US Market Research Peer Award in 2001 and 2002, the Best Marketing Capability Award in 2002 from Lilly's US Marketing organization and the 2002 Best Practice Award in Segmentation Research.

'Melinda brings superior technical expertise in pharmaceutical market research, combined with a keen understanding of the challenges associated with marketing pharmaceutical products', says G & S principal Dr. Gary Schwebach. 'Her exacting work ethic and firsthand knowledge of what the customer needs will yield actionable information that helps our clients succeed in their markets'.

Spaulding describes G & S as 'a very entrepreneurial company with views similar to mine. I was impressed with their approach to market research, being selective in their engagements, creative in their execution and forthright in their recommendations'.
