FDS Strengthens New Products Team

Pete Farrand, a former European marketing director at Nestlé,' has been appointed Senior Research Associate in the new product and business development team at FDS International.

Farrand has a mix of agency and client-side experience. He joins FDS from food, agriculture and aid-funded development specialists Promar International, and worked for Gallup early in his career. Before Promar, he worked client side, first for Quaker, where he led the market research function before switching to a more broadly based marketing role; and then as European marketing director of Nestlé's £1bn pet care business.

Commenting on his appointment, Farrand says: 'I'm confident that the former buyer's perspective that I bring to the party, coupled with the agency's existing broad talent base, will make for a perfect fit. I'm really excited by what the future holds for FDS and the contribution I expect to make in bringing new market research products to market'.
