ESOMAR Director General Departs

February 17 2004

ESOMAR has announced that Director General Ted Vonk is to leave his position as of next month to pursue other interests, by mutual agreement. The organisation is now searching for a new DG. Vonk will continue to contribute to a number of ongoing ESOMAR projects.

Fredrik Nauckhoff, ESOMAR President, expresses his appreciation for the contribution that Ted Vonk has made: 'I am grateful that we can continue to draw upon his experience and expertise, be it in a different role'.

Management Team members, Anna Alù and Wilfred van der Lee will continue to be responsible for ESOMAR's ongoing operations in close cooperation with the Council.

ESOMAR will appoint a new Director General following a rigorous recruitment process, based upon a new management blueprint , the drawing up of which has been one of the key tasks in which Vonk has been involved. The job profile and application details for the role are available online at www.esomar.org/main.php?a=1&p=1193 . ESOMAR's home page is at www.esomar.org
