CBS Exec Joins MSP Board of Advisors

LA-based marketing sciences firm MarketShare Partners (MSP) has appointed CBS's Chief Research Officer David Poltrack to its Board of Advisors.

David PoltrackPoltrack has more than thirty years' experience in marketing research and measurement. Since joining CBS in 1969, he has held various positions within the organization. In his current role, which he has held since 1994, he oversees all research operations including audience measurement, market research, program testing and ad research.

He is also President of CBS VISION, and oversees TELEVISION CITY and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas; a research center which provides consumer feedback for CBS. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the media department at Ted Bates Advertising.

Earlier this year, MSP received funding from Elevation Partners, whose MD and co-founder is Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2.

Since then, the firm has appointed former eBay marketer Mike Linton, and former Procter & Gamble marketing leader Jim Stengel to its Board of Advisors
