Converseon Hires Social Media SVP

Social media consultancy Converseon has hired former Publicis analytics veteran Mark Kovscek for the new position of Senior Vice President of Enterprise Analytics, drawing consumer and brand insights from the firm's social media intelligence solutions.

Mark KovscekFounded in 2001, New York-headquartered Converseon - which has additional offices in Detroit, San Francisco, London, Switzerland, Copenhagen and Australia - provides management consulting, activation, research and listening tools, to help clients make best use of social media.

Last month, the firm partnered with Chinese social media intelligence provider CIC to integrate monitoring and conversation mining products across mainland China.

At Publicis Groupe, Kovscek held a number of analytics and technology leadership positions. Recently, at Publicis-owned Starcom MediaVest Group, he was responsible for building an analytic solution to enable global communications planning and media buying solutions for P&G. Prior to this, he was SVP at VivaKi Nerve Center, and worked on products and solutions for Publicis Groupe's media agencies.

Earlier in his career, he worked for predictive intelligence specialist The Allant Group, and as a Principal Consultant at Price Waterhouse.
