Grout to Consult for Product Perceptions

Consumer and sensory research specialist Product Perceptions has appointed former Marketing Sciences Board Director Andy Grout as a Consultant.

Andy GroutWest Sussex-based Product Perceptions offers a range of techniques for concept testing, new product development, packaging/design pricing, and product testing across FMCG categories including drinks, toiletries and beauty products. In July, director Yvonne Taylor acquired the company from founders Dominic Buck and Keith Greenhoff.

Grout (pictured) joins on a part-time consultancy basis with more than 25 years' agency-side quant and qual experience. Prior to working at Marketing Sciences, he was European Head of Quantitative Research at The Leading Edge, Insight Director at Kadence, Managing Partner at JRA Research, and a director at MMR Research Worldwide. He also held senior roles at The Oxford Research Agency (TORA - now part of SPA Future Thinking), Information Resources, and Nielsen, having begun his career as a Research Executive with Nestle.

Commenting on his appointment, Taylor said: 'Andy will be a great asset and we are extremely pleased he has joined us at what is a dynamic time for the business.'
