Rahul SachdevFounded in 2007 by Lane Becker and Thor Muller, Get Satisfaction offers a forum for companies' online conversations with their customers on subjects ranging from product development, marketing, and PR, to customer service. Through the deal, the firm will provide a unified technology platform for managing customer experiences across third party social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as first party owned properties like web sites, blogs, and communities.

Get Satisfaction CEO Rahul Sachdev (pictured), who will join Sprinklr as Vice President of the First Party Experience (FPX) business unit, comments: 'Get Satisfaction's vision is to enable a world where customers achieve ultimate value with their brands. In the last five years, Sprinklr has created a platform that is redefining how global brands connect with their customers. With Sprinklr, we now have a tremendous opportunity to accelerate our vision and deliver greater value.'

The acquisition comes one week after Sprinklr announced $46m in new funding.
