Market Track Buys Price Monitoring Firm NewMo

In the US, pricing intelligence specialist Market Track has acquired eCommerce price monitoring specialist NewMo. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Paul SalaySan Francisco-based NewMo offers an SaaS platform called CyberAnalyst, through which clients can monitor, identify and resolve intellectual property and commercial agreement violations. These include the sale of counterfeit products, sales through unauthorized channels, trademark and copyright infringement, and minimum advertised pricing policy violations.

Market Track says CyberAnalyst's ability to curate massive quantities of data will provide an 'ideal complement' to its own eCommerce and market intelligence offer. The latter includes digital media tracking firm Media Iris, ad tracking specialist Competitrack, and eCommerce insight specialist Dynamite Data.
