Video Analytics Firm Innovid Hires Former Google Exec

In New York, online video analytics specialist Innovid has appointed former Google exec Ken Marcus as Senior Vice President, Global Client Services.

Founded in 2007, Innovid provides marketers with MRC accredited tools to create, deliver and measure video campaigns. These tools capture consumer engagement with proprietary real-time analytics and reporting, proving insight into ad viewability, engagement, awareness and social media sharing. The firm also partners with a number of research firms to round out its range of measurement options.

Markus (pictured) joins after five years at Google, where he recently led one of the largest third party services operations; overseeing management of a team of more than 1,000 agents, working in seven separate locations, and supporting over ten languages and all Google's advertising products. Before this he was Director, Online Marketing and eCommerce at publisher Conde Nast, and he held senior roles at Sirius Satellite Radio and Time Inc.
