ZappiStore Hires Shacklock for Design Role

UK-based MR app store ZappiStore has appointed Jamie Shacklock as Director of Research Architecture, to help drive strategic partnerships with research agencies and end-user brands.

The company was launched in 2013 by Spring Research founder Stephen Phillips, and sells access to market research solutions for use in creative testing and new product development projects. Tools available on the site include the 'express' version of TNS's flagship ConversionModel brand equity tool and the DIY version of Millward Brown eStatic copy-testing solution. Kantar has invested an undisclosed amount in the company, which already has operations in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, France and Germany, China and Japan.

Two months ago, the firm hired former Lightspeed GMI exec Roxan Toll as SVP, Sales and Marketing in Singapore and Eileen Rozic as VP of Sales, West Coast in the USA.
