Cuebiq Partners for Chinese Consumer Data

June 27 2017

Location data specialist Cuebiq has expanded its footprint to China via an exclusive partnership with big data-focused mobile Internet firm GeTui.

Antonio TomarchioTo help support the partnership, Cuebiq has established a team of local data scientists to analyze and aggregate data, from an office in Shanghai.

Cuebiq provides clients geo-behavioral audiences for cross-platform ad targeting, real-time campaign optimization and footfall attribution tools, and off-line location analytics. Last month it partnered with Millward Brown and later received an unspecified amount of new funding. Its new partner reaches close to a billion distinct devices in China, and via a machine learning platform developed with Cuebiq can now use this to develop actionable insights and reports about Chinese consumers' off-line behaviors and trends, the firms say.

These reports will become a component of Cuebiq's Analytics suite, which will be offered to retail, quick service restaurants, automotive, and financial services clients on an exclusive basis outside of China, helping them to understand the country's footfall data, spot visit trends and measure footfall performance by store.

Cuebiq CEO Antonio Tomarchio (pictured) comments: 'We are thrilled to be partnering with GeTui and provide value to them through our analytical capabilities. We are very excited to expand our footprint beyond US, Canada and Europe to Asia, and China specifically'.
