Manchester, UK-based Join the Dots has reported a 12.7% increase in revenue to £6.41m for first six months of 2018, compared with the same period in 2017.
Join the Dots was acquired by its senior management team last year and combines primary research with psychology and behavioural economics. It also sets up and manages online communities, and last autumn it launched a dedicated qual research unit called Spirit. The firm currently employees around 150 people at offices in Manchester, Singapore and New York, and recently restructured into two teams led by Andy Cumming and Adel Mann, with a focus on growing sector specialisms.
Despite experiencing a slower first quarter in 2018 while it completed its restructure, the firm said the second quarter quickly gained momentum and this has historically been a positive performance indicator for Q3 and Q4. Commenting on the latest financials, CEO Quentin Ashby (pictured) said: 'Our first half of the year has been a period of encouraging growth in a tough economic climate. We remain confident in the company's performance in 2018 and continue to invest in delivering high quality services to our clients and a great place to work for our staff'.
