Pulsar Hires for New Behavioural Science Role

AI-powered audience intelligence platform and social media analysis software firm Pulsar has hired consumer psychologist Nisa Bayindir for a newly created role, EVP Behavioural Science.

Nisa BayindirPreviously owned by Cello Health, and sold to comms software firm Access Intelligence last October, Pulsar measures conversation reach, maps brand audiences and tracks content, while analysing the social media connections, interests and digital behaviour of the authors. The firm's TRAC (Topic, Reach, Audience, Content) tool provides advanced social media listening and insights, to help analyze public conversation topics from open and premium data sources. In addition, the company delivers one-off research projects, integrating quant and qual methodologies.

Bayindir (pictured) previously worked for audience insights firm GlobalWebIndex as Director, Global Insights, heading up teams in London and New York. Prior to this she was Head of Consumer Research at the Telegraph newspaper; worked for Pottermore Publishing as Consultant Director of Consumer Insights and Research Strategy; Senior Social and Content Strategist at Engine; and Global Community Manager at Karmarama.

In her new role, Bayindir will work with CEO Francesco D'Orazio, who comments: 'We're on a journey to transform the way we understand society and culture with an increasingly integrated combination of artificial and human intelligence.
