Senior Changes and Strong Growth for STRAT7

Insight group STRAT7 has announced organic growth of 30% for the financial year just ended; along with 5 appointments. Among them, former Bonamy Finch MD Paul Carney becomes a Partner in the Consultancy practice, with former Head of Advanced Analytics Paul Jackson filling his previous role.

STRAT7 was founded in 2019 by customer insights community platform ResearchBods and segmentation and advanced analytics specialist Bonamy Finch, together with start-up LiFE. The firm then launched a business strategy offering called STRAT7+, and a technique called strat7.ai, which delivers structured analysis from unstructured data sources at scale. Having more recently acquired cultural insights and strategy consultancy Crowd DNA, and strategic consultancy Incite, the company has just announced 'an exceptionally strong performance' for the year ended 30th June 2022, with organic revenue growing 30% to just under £50m, and 80 new roles created to service the firm's client base.

Carney joined what is now known as STRAT7 Bonamy Finch fifteen years ago as Business Manager in its Consumer division, and has served as MD since mid-2018. Earlier he spent more than a decade at Research International, latterly as Director of the Marketing Science Centre. Jackson joined Bonamy Finch nearly fifteen years ago as a Director, having also previously worked at Research International in roles including AD Advanced Analytics. In addition, Dave Naylor has been promoted to the role of Group CTO, after nearly six years at ResearchBods; and Gordon Sherratt to Group IT Director from Group Head of IT at ResearchBods. In addition, former Ipsos Understanding UnLtd President Peter Weylie joins Incite's North American Board as Senior Director.
