STRAT7 Launches AI-based Unstructured Data Approach

July 7 2021

Data-driven strategy group STRAT7 has launched an approach called strat7.ai, which promises to deliver structured analysis from unstructured data sources at scale.

Matilda AnderssonSTRAT7 was founded in 2019 by data and analytics agencies ResearchBods and Bonamy Finch together with start-up LiFE. With the development of strat7.ai, which has been led by Matilda Andersson (pictured), Group MD at cultural insights and strategy consultancy STRAT7 Crowd DNA, the new approach uses natural language processing (NLP), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to speed-up analysis of curated global online data sources.

These sources include forums, search, social media platforms, review sites, client sales, and behavioural data sets, while also supporting multi-lingual analysis. According to the group, through the approach, its team of insight and strategy consultants can support a wide range of areas including trends forecasting, segmentation, brand positioning, customer experience, comms and innovation.

Barrie Brien, CEO of STRAT7, comments: 'Our clients are already benefiting from our unstructured data capabilities. STRAT7 Crowd DNA is working with a streaming service, a social media platform and an e-tailer to uncover emerging cultural trends using strat7.ai. Our team at STRAT7 Bonamy Finch is using AI and machine learning to analyse unstructured social data to complement their brand and customer experience, and segmentation offerings. And STRAT7 ResearchBods is working on ways to enrich insight community data using unstructured data sources'.

The group, which has offices in London, Amsterdam, Leeds, New York, Singapore, Stockholm and Sydney, is online at www.strat7.com .
