ZappiStore

July 22 2015

Joan Lewis, Lenny Murphy and Dan FormanLondon-based online research 'app store' platform ZappiStore has assembled an Advisory Board, which will initially include P&G research veteran Joan Lewis; Greenbook Editor Lenny Murphy; and former ESOMAR President Dan Forman.

Launched in 2013 by Spring Research founder Stephen Phillips, ZappiStore allows users to purchase access to market research solutions to use in their creative testing and new product development projects. Both the ‘express’ version of TNS’ flagship ConversionModel brand equity tool and the DIY version of Millward Brown eStatic copy-testing solution are available on the ZappiStore platform, and last summer their parent company Kantar invested an undisclosed amount in the company.

Its new Board has been set up to ensure the firm stays at the ‘cutting edge’ of research, while delivering exactly what clients need. Members are Lewis, who worked for P&G in the US and Europe for more than 27 years; latterly serving as the SVP of Global Consumer and Market Knowledge; Murphy, who is currently the Editor-in-Chief of MR blog Greenbook, and previously served as CEO of Rockhopper Research and tech startup BrandScan 360; and Foreman, who is Chairman of ZappiStore’s Board and past Chairman of ESOMAR, and earlier held senior roles at Lumi Mobile, Insight International, ActiveGroup, Opinium, and FocusVision.

Phillips comments: ‘We are obviously delighted to have this level of commitment from some of the best brains from the world of research. Our Advisory Board is there to make sure we develop great new products that clients love. We will also be adding to the Board with some exciting new names from the world of machine learning soon.’
