UK-based insight industry language specialist Empower Translate has appointed former ESOMAR President Dan Foreman as Non-Executive Director, advising on growth, revenue and business development.

Re-branded in 2019, Bristol-based Empower specialises in providing bespoke MR language solutions for research agencies, corporate insight departments, marketing consultancies and drug manufacturers. Foreman (pictured) joins the Advisory Board with more than twenty years' experience of building businesses across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

He currently serves as Chair of the Boards of Zappi and Bakamo.Social; and he holds NED or advisory roles at Dalia Research, Veylinx, MindProber, Virtual Store Trials, Phebi, Course5i, Cross-Tab and Merlien, and he is a Member of the Board of Directors for Market Research Institute International. Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Business Development at Lumi Mobile, and he held senior roles at ActiveGroup, Opinium, and FocusVision, WFCA, Incite, Added Value and Research International, as well as client side at Kimberly-Clark.
