GQR Promotes Two in Washington, DC

In Washington, DC, polling and research firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (GQR) has promoted Senior Director of Digital Strategy Jiore Craig and Senior Associate and Director of State Legislative Programs Ethan Smith to the position of Vice President.

Jiore Craig and Ethan SmithGQR was founded in 1980 by Stan Greenberg, who advised the campaigns and governments of world leaders including Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton and Tony Blair. It also works for corporate clients. Craig, who joined more than five years ago, leads GQR's Digital Practice, which supports both US and international clients. She specializes in differentiating between online sentiment and wider general public opinion, creating G.O.V.T. (Grow Online Voter Trust) programs, while concentrating on political campaign work in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa - as well as public opinion work for organizations in the US and Asia.

For the past four years, Smith has led GQR's State Legislative Programs, helping win three new state legislative majorities and pick up dozens of seats across six chambers in Washington, Connecticut, Tennessee, New Hampshire and North Carolina. He also helped convert four congressional districts, conducting research for Congresswoman Kim Schrier, Congresswoman Susan Wild, Congressman Andy Kim and Congressman Tom Malinowski. Prior to joining GQR, Smith worked on campaigns at all levels across the country, including serving as Executive Director of the PA House Democratic Campaign Committee. He is a leader in the LGBTQ community, working to increase the number of openly LGBTQ officials at all levels of government.
