Escalent Promotes Carpenter to Joint Euro MD

July 17 2019

Escalent, formerly Market Strategies International-Morpace, has promoted Mark Carpenter from Research Director to Joint MD of its European office based in Surrey, UK.

Mark CarpenterThe agency, which combines proprietary data capture methods and technologies with industry expertise and a visualization toolset, was formed when research firms Morpace and Market Strategies International were acquired and merged last summer by private equity firm STG (Symphony Technology Group). Then two months ago the merged company - headquartered in Livonia, MI - was rebranded as Escalent.

Carpenter (pictured) brings more than 30 years of research experience, eight of them spent at Research International before joining Morpace in 2002. In his new role, he will lead business development planning for the firm's European office, integrating with similar efforts across the company worldwide.

Mick Nagle, current Managing Director of the UK office, comments: 'There are tremendous opportunities to combine the resources and expertise across Escalent with the model of long-standing relationships we currently enjoy with our loyal clients. Mark will prepare us for the next phase of our development as we look to fulfill the potential afforded by our new brand in areas such as technology, health, financial services and, of course, in our 'home' specialist category: automotive & mobility'. Carpenter himself says: 'I am excited for this new challenge as we continue to help our clients grow their businesses and build strong futures in a world that is changing rapidly'.
