Ipsos Strengthens Social Intelligence Team

Ipsos Bengaluru Branch Head Geeta Lobo has taken on the role of India Ambassador for the Global Science Organization, alongside the position of Social Intelligence Analytics (SIA) Head, for Ipsos India. Meanwhile Research Manager Sasha Francis has moved across to the SIA team.

Geeta LoboLobo (pictured) joined the company in 2017, after thirteen years at GfK India, latterly as a member of the management board and Head of the Innovation & Marketing Understanding practice. Prior to this, she was a Consultant at TNS.

She will now act as ambassador for the Global Science Organization (GSO), set up to provide clients with innovative solutions backed with the latest science. In addition, she will lead the India business for SIA, following Ipsos' acquisition of social media listening platform Synthesio. In her new role, Lobo, will report to Vivek Gupta, MD, Ipsos innovation & Mumbai Business Head, for her position in Ipsos Bengaluru Operations; and for SIA she will report to Amit Adarkar, Ipsos India CEO & Operations Director Asia Pacific.

Separately, Francis moves across to the SIA team after two and a half years with the company. Prior to this she worked for Interactive Avenues, handling social media listening initiatives for brands and end-to-end media-related analysis and reports; and earlier she worked for Genpact as a Social & Digital Media Analyst.
