Integral Ad Science Names First Chief Customer Officer

In the US, advertising intelligence specialist Integral Ad Science (IAS) has hired Adrian D'Souza for the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer, overseeing global operations and with responsibility for delivering a customer-centric growth strategy.

Adrian D'SouzaHeadquartered in New York City with offices in thirteen countries, IAS was acquired by Vista Equity Partners last year and is known for its TRAQ Scores (TRue Advertising Quality), which evaluate the quality of media environments. The firm is also accredited by the Media Rating Council for its cross-platform Sophisticated Invalid Traffic (SIVT) detection, as well as for viewable ad impression measurement.

D'Souza (pictured) joins from out-of-home advertising company Intersection. where he served as SVP of Sales Strategy and Operations, overseeing all aspects of building customer success teams. Before this, he was VP of Global Operations at audience measurement and digital advertising firm Quantcast. He also spent more than six years at Google as Director of Media Services, responsible for end to end campaign execution and service on YouTube and the Google Display Network. Additionally, D'Souza served as co-Chair of the Internet Advertising Bureau's (IAB) Ad Operations Council from 2006 to 2012.

In his new role, he reports to CEO Lisa Utzschneider, who comments: 'With the addition of Adrian to the executive leadership team, IAS will continue to deliver best-in-class service as we rapidly scale our digital ad verification solutions.
