KJT Group Founder and CEO Replaced by COO

Kenneth Tomaszewski has stepped down from his role as President of NY-based healthcare research specialist KJT Group, and will be replaced by Michaela Gascon, who adds the title of President to her existing one of Chief Operating Officer.

Founded by former Harris Interactive exec Tomaszewski in 2007, KJT's offer is based around health services research, strategy development, outcomes and healthcare economics, delivered from the US, the Netherlands and the UK. Tomaszewski will remain CEO and Board Chair, alongside his interests in strategic planning, communications, policy and company culture.

Gascon takes over, after nearly thirteen years with the business. She joined from Harris as an SR Assistant in 2007, was named Research Director three years later, took on the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2012, and was promoted to the COO role in 2016. In her new and expanded role, she will be responsible for overall business operation.

Commenting on the news, Tomaszewski said: 'Entering into our 100% employee-owned world this past August, we knew things would change. My role as President would eventually be passed along to our next generation of leaders. Michaela's strengths and experience as COO make her well prepared to further enhance our operational excellence. I am very grateful for the opportunity to continue leading the group, albeit in a slightly different manner, ever confident in Michaela, and excited to see our continued growth'.
